1. Event: A Very Bee’zy Summer

Spend an evening learning all about the Wildlife Preservation Canada (WPC) and their Native Pollinator Initiatives during this month’s Park Talk. After covering some bumble bee 101, the talk will focus primarily on bumble bee citizen science initiatives led by WPC in both Alberta and Ontario, with a major emphasis on the value of Bumble Bee Watch for research and conservation programs across North America. This is a great opportunity to find out how we can catch, identify, release and most importantly conserve our local bee species!

  4. Event: The Best of Glenbow Golf Cart Tours

What a great way to see Glenbow Ranch Provincial Park! Our roughly two hour Best of Glenbow guided tour takes you as far east and as far west as our paved pathways extend. We make frequent stops to explain the history and ecology of the park while you enjoy the stunning vistas. This tour is a great way for those with mobility challenges to experience the park. It’s also a fantastic way for first-time park visitors to better understand how big the park is and plan out their future trips.

We even do a couple specialty tours including a geology focused tour and a photography focused tour. Check out our events page to keep up to date!

Tours are offered every week from Tuesday – Sunday from May through September. They run twice a day from 10:00 am – 12:00 pm and from 1:00 pm – 3:00 pm starting from the parking lot. Our golf carts can take up to nine people at a time! Cost is $25/person.
