Discover Grasslands programs are mobile and come directly to your classroom. Some field programs are also available at Glenbow Ranch Provincial Park. Let us introduce your class to the diverse world of Alberta’s native grasslands! Together, we’ll find answers to a number of questions.

Through hands-on exploration, students discover the secrets hidden within Alberta’s grasslands. They leave armed with a completed workbook and the knowledge to act as stewards for our grasslands. Discover Grasslands is currently being provided for Grade 4 students, and programs for Grade 6 and 7 are under development. Discover Archaeology Programs are a great way to excite your students, from K through Grade 6, about the wonders of the past! These programs come directly to your school with innovative, interactive archaeological programs for kindergarten to grade 6 students. Discover Archaeology has been developed by a professional archaeologist with years of real-world archaeological experience. The program provides students with a fantastic opportunity to gain an in-depth understanding of the past cultures and people who have shaped Alberta. Delivered by University of Calgary graduates, the program materials are cutting-edge. Your students can learn from the scientists who define history in Alberta and beyond. Each grade contains curriculum-linked content. The Discover Archaeology programs for Division One (Kindergarten through Grade 3) introduce students to different cultural perspectives, eras, and archaeological methodologies. Division Two programs directly addresses topics in the grades 4, 5, and 6 Social Studies curricula, and in the grade 6 Science curriculum. Program options include half and full-day programs.
