Wildlife Preservation Canada needs YOUR HELP to create bumble bee nesting habitat and survey for at-risk pollinators at Glenbow Ranch Provincial Park (and in your own back yard) this spring and summer. Help us conserve these important critters!

All you need is:
▪ Transportation to/from Glenbow Ranch
▪ Free time to observe nests & catch bees from April to September
▪ A camera (phone cameras acceptable)

What you will get in return is:
▪ A rewarding & fun outdoor experience!
▪ And training in…
✓ Building & setting up bumble bee nest boxes
✓ Bumble bee & other pollinator identification
✓ How to submit your observations to BumbleBeeWatch.org & NatureLynx

 

Time commitment is flexible, and

NO EXPERIENCE REQUIRED!

Park Hours                                                                                                                                                                     The park is open for your enjoyment Sunrise to Sunset every day of the year.

Visitor Information Centre                                                                                                                                       Open 11:00 am to 3:00 pm* on weekends over the fall and winter pending volunteer availability:

*During inclement weather, or when the road conditions on Glenbow Road are impassable for cars, the centre will remain closed.
